‘Mr. Obama, Mr. McCain, Where Were the Difficult Questions?’

By Day Gardner
As I listened to the boring debate last night between John McCain and Barack Obama, I realized that both men ended up jabbering about the same old things we have been hearing over the last few weeks. We already know that there is a problem with the economy, duh! We are all holding our collective breath with regard to seeing what will happen next and what’s around the corner. The bailout or rescue, which ever you choose to call it–happened and now unfortunately all America can do is wait and see.

Even after the debate the media coverage was boring. I tried to make sense of the dumbest comments from them including this candidate looked more ‘debonair’ than the other candidate. But when one of the media panel members started analyzing who had the best smile, I nearly fell out of my chair. I mean really? Who cares!!! Our country is in trouble! This is not a beauty pageant–and that’s saying a lot because I know a little something about pageants! Trust me–don’t ask.

Senators Obama and McCain both want to end the war–we all want our men and women home and they will come home at some point–’hopefully’ soon, ‘hopefully’ victorious.

Since 911, guess what? We will never feel or be completely safe again. We will always be looking over our shoulder for the next attack. I’m not saying the questions posed were not important, I’m saying we’ve already heard both candidates’ answers. They are asked these questions over and over and therefore had a lot of time to prepare their answers and practice their delivery in their respective mirrors. Proof was that they both faired boringly well.

So, where were all the difficult questions? Where were the questions about gay marriage? Where were the questions about embryonic stem cell research?

Mr. McCain and Mr. Obama have healthcare plans–I think they’re both okay, just okay. I’d like to hear what Mr. Pickins has to offer, too.

And regarding healthcare, here’s where the questions could have really gotten interesting. I wanted the candidates to state once and for all where they stand on abortion. Not just ‘for’ or ‘against’ answers.

With all this talk about cutting spending, why was there no mention of cutting the 350 million dollars dolled out to the ‘billion dollar’ Planned Parenthood abortion chain? Why was there no mention about the killing of infants born alive?

For instance, twenty-six months ago at an abortion clinic in Florida, an African American baby girl was born during an abortion. Did you hear me? A baby girl was born during an abortion. After being born, the young girl was shoved into a biohazard bag and tossed on the roof of a Hialeah abortion mill where she suffered a horrendous death–bruised and battered, gasping for air.

The mother observed her daughter moving. The staff started screaming because they saw the child was alive. But still, the woman named Belkis Gonzalez went ahead and cut the umbilical cord, threw it into a bag, and then used her hands to shove the living baby girl into the same bag along with the bloody gauze.

Eight days later, police found the baby in the bag, on the roof. An autopsy concluded the baby’s lungs contained gas bubbles proving the child was born alive.

So, where were the questions about infanticide? Why weren’t there any questions about this little girl or others like her?

FYI: for any ‘candidate’ who cares, keep in mind Florida is an important state in this election–Shanice Osbourne’s funeral will be held on October 14, 2008, at 11 AM at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S. State Road 7, in Ft. Lauderdale.

Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that due to the blatant effort by the liberal media to cover up the outlandish stand of Barack Obama on infants born alive and the cowardice of Mr. Obama, who folds under the pressure of the nation’s largest abortion chain, Shanice and other children like her, will continue to die these horrible deaths.

Unless of course, somewhere along the campaign trail, backbones are developed.

Obama Still Lying About Abortion Survivors!

By Day Gardner

Barack Obama voted against Illinois’ Born Alive Infants Protection Act that would protect babies who survived abortion.

He misrepresented his vote, saying that the bill he opposed in the Illinois State Senate was different from the bill that was passed by the US Senate and signed into law by President Bush. However, the National Right to Life Committee has produced documents that confirm the two bills were exactly the same.

To make matters even worse, Obama is now attacking Gianna Jessen, a young woman who by some blessing, miraculously, survived being killed by abortion.

Rather than applaud her life, he totally disregards her and ignores her passionate plea for the lives of babies who after surviving abortion–are strangled, suffocated, stabbed to death, or shelved until dead–which amounts to infanticide.

Barack Obama is far more extreme than anyone else on this issue.

It is hard to believe that this man vying for the highest office in America would not only oppose legislation to protect children born alive, but would then lie about it for 4 years stating that he did not oppose it.

Mr. Obama behaves like a small child caught with his hand in the cookie jar–instead of telling the truth, he continues to deny the obvious and spouts tall tales like some children do.

Okay, we’ll make it easy for you, Barack. Maybe you failed to actually read the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and voted against it by mistake, everyone has an off day, right? Just own up to it!

National Black Pro-Life Union Says: ‘Barack Obama,No we Can’t!’

By Day Gardner

There has been much talk about Barack Obama’s vote against Illinois’ Born Alive Infants Protection Act that would protect babies who survived abortion.

It’s hard to believe that this man who wants to hold the highest office in this land would not only oppose legislation to protect children born alive, but would then lie about it for 4 years stating that he didn’t oppose it.

For 4 years Mr. Obama misrepresented his vote, saying that the bill he opposed in the Illinois State Senate was different from the bill that was passed by the U.S. Senate and signed into law by President Bush. However, the National Right to Life Committee has produced documents that confirm the two bills were exactly the same.

So, Mr. Obama lied…big time!

The identical legislation to protect babies who survive abortion was passed by the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly (before Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate) by a vote of 98-0, which means that even the most adamant pro-abortion Senators did not oppose it. Even NARAL was neutral on this bill, which goes to say that Barack Obama is far more extreme than anyone else on this issue.

Let’s understand what opposing this important legislation means. Suppose that a woman goes to an abortion facility for an abortion and by some blessing the child survives–alive. Barack Obama has voted that the abortionist, medical staff, and anyone else in the room should stand by and watch the child die a horrible death–gasping for air–without lifting a finger to help him or her. There are also cases where completely delivered living babies were suffocated or strangled to death.

Barack Obama is an extremist who, in supporting what amounts to infanticide, would like to see all of us stand idle–twiddling our thumbs as unplanned children, who are born alive, die this terrible death.

We must realize this is definitely part of Mr. Obama’s plan for America. But it is definitely not mine. In my America, all voices shout, “NO WE CAN’T!” “NO WE WON’T!”

NAACP Challenged to Condem Racism of Planned Parenthood

bY Day Gardner

As a child I thought the NAACP to be a super hero organization; an organization that would fight racism right down to its very core.

A super hero organization– wearing a mighty breastplate forged in polished steel –the  words freedom and liberty emblazoned where the hearts of all black Americans pounded in rhythm to the spiritual ‘we shall overcome’.  A superhero organization whose cape was the American flag, whose powerful voice rang in tones of equality for all—planting his feet firmly on the Bible—standing on the word of GOD Almighty.

I remember a time while growing up in the 1960’s–my chest swelled with pride whenever I heard that the NAACP had become involved in righting some horrible wrong in an effort to stamp out racism.

Today, I am standing here shoulder to shoulder with my brothers and sisters in front of the Duke Convention Center where the NAACP is holding their 99th annual convention.

We are here to rally the NAACP—to make our voices heard as we shout in unison—all across this great nation that the struggle is not yet over!  The evil hand of racism is still at work in this country—and living in the bowels of Planned Parenthood.

After the Civil War, black men, women and children who were freed from the shackles of slavery were now breeding and migrating to cities and towns by the thousands. Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger was a slick racist.  She initiated an evil plot to eliminate the Negro population called the Negro Project in 1939.

Planned Parenthood was founded in hate and racism and we know that still today–it has not strayed from its racist roots.

In the recent YouTube video we hear the voices of the Planned Parenthood organization as employees gladly accept racist donations.  We cringed when we heard the excitement of employees glad to accept donations specifically targeting ‘black children’.

Planned Parenthood is a billion dollar baby killing machine that receives the bulk of its blood money from the vicious dismembering and killing of innocent children.

Ans one third that billion dollars comes from you and me the tax payer.
The question of the day is:  Why are we forced to pay well over 300 MILLION dollars to an organization that is overtly racist and drenched in the blood of black folk.

We stand before you today with our eyes open to the truth.  There are no scales on our eyes.  We aren’t Negroes anymore.  We are not easily deceived as we were back in 1939.  Our eyes are opened to the lies and the trickery of Planned Parenthood.   Our eyes are opened to their racist agenda.

We are calling on the NAACP to stand boldly with us to defund Planned Parenthood—and even lead the way in this–the greatest struggle for civil rights.

Day Gardner, Comments on Planned Parenthood’s Endorsement of Barack Obama

“Barack Obama said recently that he doesn’t want his young daughters ‘punished with a baby.’ No wonder Planned Parenthood, an organization that has been caught getting “excited” over accepting donations earmarked to abort black babies, would enthusiastically endorse Obama today. Obama, if elected President, would no doubt be a huge ally to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the nation and who receives over $300 million a year from taxpayers. The abortion giant’s funding would be safe and secure no doubt.

“By kow-towing to the abortion industry Obama proves he is just another politician, as he purposely overlooks the fact that 63 percent of Planned Parenthood’s 860 clinics are in African-American communities.  He purposely overlooks tapes of Planned Parenthood staff and executives, made public on YouTube, gladly accepting donations from clearly racist donors who specifically want their money targeted toward aborting black babies.

“What both Planned Parenthood and Obama don’t realize is that we do not have to kill our children to have fruitful, successful lives. But it doesn’t matter. Even though blacks make up only 13% of the population, they make up over 36% of all abortions done in this country.

“Planned Parenthood’s endorsement of Barack Obama reminds me of a quote from Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, on the logistics of how she wanted to wipe out the black population: , ‘We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.’

Shame on Barack Obama for allowing himself to be used to bring Margaret Sanger one step closer to her goal.”

PLANNED PARENTHOOD TARGETS BLACK WOMEN FOR ABORTION WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS!

National Black Pro-Life Union SAYS DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD, NOW!

Black people know about racism. Most of us have experienced racism first hand at some point in our lives. Recently, there has been attention drawn to a You Tube video. A video that exposed the blatant racism of the Planned Parenthood organization.

In the You Tube video employees stated they were happy and even “excited” to take money specifically earmarked to kill black babies by abortion.

Black America must wake up and stand up to this racist organization that purposefully plants abortion facilities firmly in black and minority neighborhoods and urban communities — sometimes, right next door to schools.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD is the Nation’s largest abortion provider! Recently, they reached the ONE BILLION dollar mark! One billion dollars in one year!

But did you know that more than 300 million dollars of that money was given to this organization last year by you and me?

Planned Parenthood received more than 300 million of our tax dollars in federal funding!

They also receive millions in public donations, not to mention the millions in blood money from dismembering the bodies of innocent children — black children and other children by abortion. These beautiful children are still warm — their hearts still beating — when their little bodies are dismembered.

Many of our aborted children have been butchered further and sold for body parts. It’s a horrible truth — but truth no less!

Here’s what I want to know — why are our tax dollars going into a pot to fund this racist organization?

LAST YEAR…thousands of Americans lost their homes due to foreclosed loans. Many home owners only needed 5, 10, 20,000 dollars to save their homes.

300 Million dollars could have saved a lot of homes!

In this country many of our schools — especially inner city schools are in shambles. 300 million dollars could have helped hire a few more teachers — and better teachers! It could have provided computers and other school supplies.

We have men, women, children — whole families — old and young — living in the streets! I’ve seen them–you have seen them–right here in our Nation’s Capitol–fellow Americans — destitute and homeless. 300 million dollars could have provided housing and shelter for these Americans.

Many of our elderly can’t afford the prescription drugs they need to stay vital, independent and healthy. 300 million dollars could help provide some of those drugs or help relieve spiraling medical debt.

But instead, more than 300 million dollars–our tax dollars went to Planned Parenthood–a racist abortion provider that makes much of it’s blood money slaughtering innocent children.

I am here today to say the buck must stop here! Federal funding to Planned Parenthood must be stopped–and must be stopped NOW!

Day Gardner Comments on Abortion Man Video

Some have said the You Tube Abortion Man video produced by Damon Wayans was done as a joke. Unfortunately, it is a misguided attempt at being funny.Let’s think about the story line here — a young woman is happily looking forward to becoming a mother when she is unexpectedly attacked, brutally beaten, punched in the abdomen and then stomped on until her crying baby is aborted. The truth is the You Tube video depicts the growing number of violent attacks on pregnant women and their unborn children. The video is not only insensitive and demeaning but also down right stupid.

In the Wayans video the father of the child is a video game playing, couch potato, “nigga” (as they refer to each other). It brings to mind the early days of Hollywood when the only roles offered to blacks were roles of simple minded, lazy, no account, watermelon-lovin’ darkies.

I remember laughing nervously at Steppin Fetchet’s bulging eyes and the way he walked slumped over, mispronouncing the most basic words as he spoke. Even as a young girl something seemed wrong to me. I remember feeling uncomfortable and saddened by the portrayal. In those movies black women were always maids who cared for, weaned and raised white children yet were rarely seen nurturing their own.

Those negative roles were created by whites to sustain the popular belief at the time that “coloreds” were small minded and ignorant. Talented black actors were degraded and treated with the utmost disrespect.

The Abortion Man video reminded me of those old studio days with the greatest difference being that today the stereotypical stigma is not coming from the old studio system—it doesn’t have to—because today we are more than happy and go to great lengths to degrade and disrespect ourselves.

It seems no matter how far we’ve come—no matter how educated we are – no matter how talented and successful black “Hollywood” families have become, shamefully, some of us still don’t get it.

The truth is we are better than that.

Should America be “Punished” with a President Who will not Stand for All of Us?

Recently, while campaigning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Barack Obama made this statement:

“When it comes specifically to HIV/AIDS, the most important prevention is education, which should include — which should include abstinence education and teaching the children — teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual. But it should also include — it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

First of all, I will never call a baby a “mistake,” we are all put here for a reason. But that aside, aren’t we supposed to help our children learn from their “mistakes?”

For every child who gets into trouble from something as simple as being late to class or as serious as a DUI, and worse–there will always be consequences.

Sometimes the consequences may be a school detention or a driving suspension–unfortunately, depending on the “mistake” the consequences may include jail time.

All parents would like to ensure their children avoid difficulties, but the truth is if we teach our children to learn from their experiences then we help to build character.

The consequences or circumstances a young woman may face with an unplanned pregnancy need not include the cruel and vicious killing of her child.

I know many young women who are wonderful mothers. We do not have to kill our children to have fruitful, successful lives. Also, there are thousands and thousands of loving couples who aren’t able to conceive children in this country and end up going to China, Africa or other countries to adopt babies.

Mr. Obama obviously doesn’t know very much about what an abortion really is–what it does to children–and what it does to the bodies of women.

If he did, I don’t think he would have spoken so casually and callously about snuffing out the lives of his future grandchildren or the traumatic health problems and depression his older yet–still beautiful girls would have to face.

America is filled with people who don the velvet robes of the every man for himself mentality; people who would sell their mothers–or kill their children to get ahead. Many Americans will take the easy road, short cuts–stepping on backs–crushing the bones of others along the way.

Then there are those Americans who stand up when commanded to stand down; Americans who work with sweat, blood, truth and many times tears to attain greatness.

There are Americans who place high value on each and every family member–each and every American whether black, white, yellow, brown or red–young or old, born and unborn. These are people who have earned “character” as their middle name.

“That’s what I hope for all of your future generations, Mr. Obama, both born and yet to be born, whether planned or not. That’s my America!”
